The Department of Economics specialises in applied policy relevant academic research and teaching. All of our outputs are focussed upon providing practical solutions to real world problems. We are home to the highly respected Fraser of Allander Institute - which has for over 40 years been a crucial part of the economic policy landscape in Scotland.

The Department offers a wide range of learning opportunities. Prospective undergraduates have a choice of a BA in Economics or combining economics with other subjects such as finance, mathematics, marketing and more.
