Scotland’s last Auschwitz survivor leaves £500,000 gift to fund quantum research
Judith Rosenberg – who died in January aged 98 and who was Scotland’s last Auschwitz survivor – left in her Will a legacy gift to the University of ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ.

The University of ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ will honour three prominent women in the naming of its new Learning and Teaching Building. The former Colville building will be named the Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell Wing in recognition of the renowned astrophysicist,.

MSc Quantum Technologies
This Masters-level degree provides you with the skills to participate in the second quantum revolution with control of quantum features enabling novel functionalities for industrial products and advanced research. The Department of Physics is involved in all four UK Quantum Hubs and numerous UKRI and Innovate UK grants. Central role for ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Physics in new initiatives
³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ, via the Physics Department’s Optics Division and the Institute of Photonics, is the only institution in the UK to be represented in all four EPSRC Quantum Technology hubs in both phases of funding.
